    Hi,

I'm looking for a small 8 port POE switch that will support IP phones, trunking, Voice Vlans, QOS. Any recommendations?

I have seen Cisco have what I need but I have to buy a few and they come in about 800 each..

How many phones you planning to run off it? Output power would be the limiting option, assume you are looking for proper POE/POE+ and not that passive ****e.

A aruba 2530 can do all that, is passive and has 8 POE ports but is limited to about 65 watts output. Costs about 450 inc vat in Ireland. Possibly cheaper.

    Hi,

Check out the small business switches from Cisco. The SG250, SG300, and SG350 Series have automated voice VLAN capabilities which let you plug any IP phone into your IP telephony network and receive an immediate dial tone. The switches automatically configure the device with the right VLAN and QoS parameters to prioritize voice traffic.

I can’t add any links in the comments, but there are some product IDs from the Cisco Small Business portfolio: SG250-10P , SG300-10PP and SG350-10P. For more information, you can visit the Cisco web site. Also, Cisco has a Presales team to get more assistance regarding the Cisco products.

Unifi is what I would use. They have an 8 port 150 watt or an 8 port 60 watt

    https://www.ubnt.com/unifi-switching/unifi-switch-8/

I manage a lot of these are they excellent and great value for money.

I'm pretty sure that second one is passive poe only, not 802.3af compliant

    It has 4 x non POE and 4 x 802.3af PoE ports
The US-8-60W is an 8-port gigabit switch with four 802.3af PoE ports. Its auto-sensing PoE ports deliver up to 15.4W of power per port.
