When I signed up I picked an interest in politics and I was automatically subscribed to the Politics (Archive). I can't seem to unsubscribe to this forum as it is closed.

You can do this manually by going to http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/subscription.php?do=removesubscription&f=n (where n is the number of the forum). In this instance, Politics (Archive) is 99, so the full URL is http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/subscription.php?do=removesubscription&f=99 .

Thanks. Seems to have worked. It might be worth changing that automatic subscription for newcomers.
