Closest free parking near Dun Laoghaire

What would be the best place to find free parking in Dun Laoghaire near Marine Road and George's Street Lower for around 9:30am weekdays? I am happy to walk for 30 minutes if necessary, but finding the closest free parking would be great. I have to be there for 10:00.

@Mod: There is a thread from 8 years ago on this but some forums prefer threads that old not revived, please merge this if you want to.

The old thread mentions Glenageary and Mounttown, are these still free, and would I find a spot around 9:30? Maybe somewhere in Glasthule?

There is free parking on Beechwood Park. 10 - 15 minute walk to Marine road.

Lidl up at the Sallynoggin Roundabout would be a good bet, only another 5 mins of added time.

Is there a chance all the spots at Beechwood and Glenageary farm would be full, in which case I would be better off just parking at the Lidl directly? Or perhaps there are many places to park on those roads around 9:30?

If you're willing to walk 30 minutes, is there no public transport that would work for you?

The controlled parking area in Glasthule goes up as far as Albert Road / Hudson Road, but you'd be doing well to get a spot at 9.30 on Elton Park, Dundela Park or Adelaide Road (including roads off it)
