    Hi All,

Is it worth mooring at Skerries rather than Malahide if heading for Carlingford? Are there moorings at Skerries or is it a question of tying up by the harbour wall between the fishing boats?

    many thanks

A lot of people just tie up at the harbour wall as there are not many fishing boats left in Skerries, in Malahide you could pay for a spot in the marina it would safer and you wont have to worry about the tide.

It mostly drys out, you could check with the sailing club to see if there a swing mooring out past the harbour that you could use for the night.
