Thought it would be a decent thread to have, any sounds you're interested in making, post here for advice on how to do so.

Anyone have any ideas what waveforms/synthesis/effects/processing would be used on the grumbling bass sound that comes in the track at 16mins? Sounds so good on headphones, makes my brain tingle.

    I think this is it:
    https://soundcloud.com/fallenleafmusic/babic-bass

It's a dual oscillator synth. Sawtooth and sine wave with the saw down -2 octaves and the sine down -1. The sawtooth is going through a clean LPF set at 834hz-2k with a tiny amount of resonance. No filter on the sine wave. Both waves are at equal volume and are running parallel out of the amp. Should be able to recreate it on any two oscillator synth.

Very nice, this will be useful

Here's another one. The sound is in the background at 8s, 24s, 39s with a good example at 55 secs, sounds like its drenched with reverb and delay, sounds quite saturated? (Only begun investing more time in sound design, my descriptions are weak). Tried to make it with a sharp clap with reverb, delay, reverb and some filters but failed miserably. I know Recondite only uses Ableton Operator for all his sounds if that helps.
