Musician Looking to Rent Space as a Workshop

    Hi!

I am a professional acoustic musician looking to find a space to practice daily and sketch out songs.

I've been searching all over the Internet as of late and I am finding very hard to find anything reasonable or suitable (most studios charge for equipment that I don't need - and anything like an office just doesn't seem to suit a musician)

Do any of you have a spare garage or storage space around the D2/D4/D6/D1 that you would like to make some cash on?

If not, have you any ideas as to where I should be looking?

    Thanks!

It wasn't bad last time I was in there.

The big door there. No idea how it's rented. Nice place.

Both places cater for people playing in the evenings and/or into the wee hours, so it may suit you if you'll only be there during the day.

Not a bad place. Has two buildings in the industrial park. Has parking, and Dominos knows where it is :D Has a kitchen/chill-out area where people can have a cuppa whilst talking to the other bands there. Is open 24/7 and you'll often have bands loading/unloading their stuff at various hours for gigs, but it's also why it's a good location. You'll also get to know other people there, and have seen various people jam with other bands there.

Of them all, I'd go with Volt, then the studio I've no idea how it's rented, with the Loop in last place. Pretty sure Loop was 24/7 when I was last there, and you had to lock up your gear each time.
The unknown place, people shared the larger rooms. Volt also had people share the rooms.

You may find someone who'll only use the rooms in the evenings/weekends, and this will leave you work during the day. They usually put the noisy people together :P

    Cheers guys!

I have tried those studios, but they're a bit too expensive.

That exchequer street I've never heard of I'll check it!

The question is still extended to anyone with a basement, garage, or storage space!

    Thanks!
