    Oh...it's over.

    *removes feather boa*

Sum up tonight's show for me in one word.

I was just thinking there that Brendan O'Connor and Norah Casey are supposed to be very close friends (well they've both said it a few times). He certainly has had her on as a guest often enough on his two shows. I would say he is probably very disappointed that Norah didn't give him an exclusive interview for the SINDO.

I Think you've got competition above
Afaik he's doing his #WAW tour, get your thumb out for a lift ;)

And she could have brought along the fireman in case Marion's ashtray went on fire.

I hate myself for missing the Late Late during the summer.

Why not get up to date with all the shows on a fri instead,
starting with the head wreck that is Twin Peaks:
Although how much can you get scared of it 26yrs later

Here's some info i came across:

    https://galoremag.com/women-twin-peaks-season-3/

& more interesting is that the Irish girl Amy Styles has no character name on IMDB

Any recommondations on a starter gin for the non gin drinker to sample?

Sorry didn't see your question till I came in from the pub. I won't be pretentious and say try Blue Sapphire, but I do think that even cheap gin is way better than cheap vodka.

So if your interested, just get a bottle of own brand Gin from your local supermarket. It's not the type of thing you can mix with whatever mixer you like, it only works with tonic water and a slice of lime or lemon.

I'm with Donie. I'm gonna miss not having a show to boycott on a Friday night.

Gin & Bitter Lemon or Gin & Soda also work. I've heard good things of gin & cranberry.

Personally, I like gin with just a drop of water to release the flavours.

But a good tonic is key to a G&T, Schweppes doesn't have much quinine, Poachers Well or Fevertree are excellent.

There is a Gin, Gin, Gin thread in the Food & Drink Forum for anyone who is interested.

Why do women stay with such loopers, is it because they are freeloaders?

If you ever get up the courage to talk to a woman, ask her.

I'm feeling bad that Autosport is not gonna have her fix of Tubridy every so can week all chip in and buy her a hat stand with a tuxedo, and she can keep that in the corner of the room every friday night. It would probably have better personality.

To all the LLS thread regulars (and defectors), may wish you all a safe and happy summer - see you in September :)

So on the 3rd date he began to show his true colours...

And now we're hearing about it years later?

Anyone know his version of events? Does he even exist?

I didn't see the interview. Police involved? Reported?

I got the impression he had died. She said he had a heart condition from before they met.
They showed a picture of them on their wedding day. They didn't caveat with anything about his version, which is strange if he is alive.

Theee dates in he shows his true colours and she goes on and marries him?

Now it appears he may be dead.

Unreal that this sh1t is peddled on a Friday night show.

As the saying goes dead men tell no tales.

And it's not like that fooking crutch, Tubridy was going to conduct any kind of decent and insightful interview.

There you go, Nora. The stage is yours.

I don't know if he is still alive but I didn't get that impression. She acknowledged she went ahead with the marriage. To be fair I don't think it's as black and white as reporting to the police the first time someone hits someone. There is a lot of vulnerabilty, dependency and insecurity that plays a part in the dynamic, even maybe thinking it will make it go away (I.e naively thinking commitment will remove the jealous rages) and things will get better. Maybe watch it on iPlayer and see what you think. I thought she was sincere although I did feel the fact he might have a different side was brushed over.

    Aye. Those were the days.

I remember the laughing Tubbs picture like it was a couple of years ago.
