... but my mind's gone blank! Appeared earlier in the year, in an area to which several tons of clay/soil were added in late autumn, so the soil is still bare. Not sure if it's one of those ones which spreads widely and starts to take over once it has flowered, so I'd really be grateful to know whether or not I should dig…

Gaah! I knew I should've known it. Will leave it for now but I think once it starts to go to seed I'll cut it back so it doesn't pop up everywhere.
