So does the impending Sanchez to United transfer change your plans, if at all, lads? Lingard likely to miss out now?

Walcott you Everton looks to be all but done now too and a very attractive option at £7.1m.

Both could be nice differentials for those of us chasing large leads.

Aubameyang to Arsenal is another one.

Just realised I had my most successful -8 ever the past weekend. Coutinho (0), Kolasinac (0) and Abraham (0) transferred out for Alonso (8), Pogba (11) and Ayew (8). A 19 point swing, all told.

Got lucky with Ayew coming off the bench. Who says points hits don't work.

I'm only about 50 odd points behind the guy 1st in Ireland and he's already used his Triple Captain...oh the temptation to use it to close the gap....must.wait.for.a.dgw.!!

I’d maybe be happy to pay the 8.0m for Pogba but no danger I’d pay big money for any United attacker.

For 11.8m Sanchez would need to be at City to interest me.

Sanchez can play anywhere so it's not clear who'll miss out. I think right wing is probably their weakest position due to Matas lack of pace but Sanchez hasn't played there regularly for years so who knows.

Wonder what price Aubameyang would come in at.

10.5 or 11 I reckon. Less than Aguero but more than Morata

    On wildcard at the moment.

Now that we're past the Xmas madness, is it reasonable to dip into the bargain bucket for your bench, perhaps sacrificing 15 starters for a stronger first 11? TV is murdering me

    Excellent research.

Does he name his team early? :D

If you’re talking a 4.2m defender and a 4.3/4.4m midfielder then yes because you can find regulars at those prices.

If Niasse does move to the likes of Brighton then you can definitely throw him in too at 4.7m.

    Is this a serious one?

Aubameyang & Lacazette upfront? That'd be an awkward one...

    Walcott to Everton looking closer.

ArsenalFanTV reporting that he's at Everton's training ground discussing the move.

Walcott being mentioned here, Stephen Ireland in another thread. Got me thinking, how many other players have been in FPL since the start (2006)?

    Baines is another one

I don't think Walcott will be a viable option in that Everton team tbh
Sure I haven't even dared sign siggy this season!
    Yet........

Yeah that's what I was thinking, although I'm toying with putting the likes of Mbemba in there to save a bit more.

Nah. It was all about Echo Elevens on Echo Island back in the day!

The 1st year I remember there being an FPL website was for the 04/05 season. Now it may have been up and running a season or 2 earlier than that, but that is the 1st time I remember registering a team. For some reason, FPL never recorded the season scores for those 1st couple of years. So, even fewer of those players listed would have been playing then I'd imagine...

I distinctly remember having a team when I was in my last year of college, so that was the 03/04 season. Not being too up with the rules, I just picked a good solid team thinkin they'd be able to beat most other teams. Had Vieria and Savage as a midfield pair!
