Have the wildcard down to these two fellas

    DdG Ryan
    Alonso Mustafi Robertson Morgan Lowton
    Salah Mahrez Son Willian Gundmunsson
    Aubamayang Firmino Vardy

    or

    DdG Ryan
    Alonso Mustafi Jones Morgan Lowton
    Salah Mahrez Son Willian Kenedy
    Aubamayang Firmino Vardy

The usual BB in 34, FH 35 so can chance more players that are out of 35...

Basically it comes down to Mustafi/Robertson/Gundmundsson or Mustafi/Jones/Kenedy ...can't figure out which combo to go for!

So two top 1kers. one going Sword and the other going Shield.

T-b0n3, upgrading Walcott with your FT next week seems like the plan but your light on the bench if Robertson/Mkhi is rested.
I know it's a calculated risk but don't rule out a Carroll upgrade.

    Good luck to you both.

Busts could include the two of you in his analysis of the run in.
I for one am looking forward to this.

Yes it was a toss up to replace Shaq or Theo with MikeyT. Not sure who my priority is for next week yet, a lot of candidates to be replaced!

As they say I'm hoping that fortune favors the brave!

With it tight at the top, and presumably a decent amount of wildcards used, should the popular players for WCs this week have a good week a big chunk of competitors will be moving forward as one.

It's a week where a -8 could cost you quite a bit of rank. That's if it went the wrong way. You'll be laughing if this week's popular WC picks fail and you do well thanks to your transfers.

Ye I accept that I'll lose some ground this week but hoping it'll be worth holding the WC just a little longer. It only takes a hattrick (hopefully King Harry Kane) here or an injury there to ruin a great plan and people will be ripping up there teams, hopefully I'll be ready to take full advantage with all my chips intact.

But as ElTel said, it's a risk..

Bit of a selection headache. Need to pick 3 defs.

Currently have Robertson Tarkowski Dummett (Chilwell Ogbonna)

    Correct 3?

Hope next weekends City v United game lives up to it.

The times I’ve watched United they’ve kept clean sheets but could have conceded 1,2 or 3 so it’ll be very very interesting.

I know I’ll be playing DDG but I fancy City to win by 2 or 3.

I really hope we get a cracking game as I don’t care what the results is.

Looking ahead to GW34 is Sanchez now an essential captaincy pick?

Pep making soundings that his squad selection for United will have the game against Liverpool in mind. Mind games surely?

WBA and Bournemouth are such good fixtures a Utd captain looks a must - Lukaku then?

I genuinely would rest my whole first 11 if I was Klopp or Pep - both teams can afford to lose next weekend and fresh legs will be a huge advantage in second leg.

I’d definitely go Lukaku over Sanchez. I’d probably go DDG and Lingard over him tbh!

There is also Salah, Mahrez or a Spurs player as viable captaincy options.

Pep can klopp can't. If Chelsea were to lose today klopp could rotate a good bit.

Even a Chelsea draw would put Liverpool within 4 wins of being unassailable in top 4.

Even if Chelsea win today and Liverpool get those for wins against against Bournemouth, WBA, Stoke and Brighton then Chelsea would need to win all 7 of their remaining games to catch them - as a Liverpool fan I would be happy to see Klopp take that risk.

In one of my MLs I am now 60 behind a rival. Was closer to a hundred but made some dents recently. Do ye think it's possible to close the gap?

    My squad
    Ddg/fab
    bong/Morgan/legenue/Fernandez/lowton
    Salah/son/willian/gross/mahrez
    Lukaku/PEA/Austin

    His squad
    Ddg/Elliot
    Robertson/azpi/mustafi/Jones/babies
    Salah/Miki/Sterling/fernandino/tpt
    Jesus/firmino/j Ayew

I have FH and BB. Him just the BB.

I feel I'm well set to have a decent DGW34 team with no hits required. FH then 35 and most likely BB 37.

Don't know if anyone else follows the Irish lads at the top of the table but Inchihardcores is up to 4th overall this week.

FH could be worth 20/30 pts so yes 60 is very doable
Also you are better set up for DGW and bench boost

The fella in my ML who's in second behind me used FH in GW31 (I think (whichever the skinny one was!)) and gained 30 points on me so it's definitely valuable.

That said though, I don't think he's too well set up for GW 34 and 37, or even 35 to an extent so *hopefully* it'll backfire on him in the end! :pac:

I'm hanging on in the top 300 at the moment and I've been unsure what to do all week.

I have all my chips left.

    I've decided to hold my wildcard and I've taken a - 8.

    Out: Shaq, Wilson & Aguero
    In: MikcyT, Lukaku & Aubameyang

    Leaving me with:

    Lossl
    Yedlin Mee Robertson
    Salah Mahrez Walcott MikeyT
    Lukaku Firmino Aubameyang (C)
    Elliot Naughton Carroll Bauer

    2.8 ITB

Not exactly happy but I'm hoping holding the wildcard for another few weeks will give me some benefits and flexibility. We'll soon see!

Any thoughts or advice welcome. I could still wildcard...

To sum up the outcome here, the -8 worked out pretty well.

    Aguero (0), Shaq (2) & Wilson (2) = 4 points. (Naughton got 1 who'd of come in) = 5 points total
    Lukaku (8), Auba (13) & MickyT (1) = 22 points -8 = 14

So 9 points gained, MickyT being the failure.

Ended up with 70 (-8) points in total for the week and I stayed at 293rd.

Just 10 points in it now! But having all the chips still makes you huge favourite. Just BB and TC left for me. Gw 35 is probably where you pull clear.

Still might give you a bit of a sweat, hopefully a title race on the cards!

Still lots of games left and 10 points is easily made up.

    Should be fun :)
