That would be bye bye Jesus from any of my plans. I think Arsenal would be insane to sell City though (their fans would fullon revolt) so instead I think it will be bye bye Sanchez from my plans for a year at least.

Outside the PL, is there anyone else other than PSG or maybe Juventus. He's not good enough for Real, Barca or Bayern, so if he is to go, City have the money.

Maybe I worded myself wrong. I didn't mean he would be leaving England. I meant if he stays at Arsenal without signing a new contract then you couldn't realistically touch him.

United played 3 at the back last night and Jose said they will be playing it at times this season ........

That doesn't look well for Mkhitaryan right?

    Jose:

"We have trained for five days and in these five days we trained for two days in the relation to this system [three at the back]. The improvements are in relation to four hours of work so I couldn't expect much better, it's something we have to keep working on in case during the season we decide to play three at the back. We did it twice against Rostov and maybe we want to do it more times."

I read that as just a precaution, in case of an injury crisis. I definitely don't think it will be a regular thing, but I suppose it is something to consider for people looking to bring in Mikhi or Martial.

I don't know what it means now for Pogba either who was one of first names in my team along with fabregas :(
I suppose we will have a better idea in a few games times and when all signings are complete
I think it will probably be against the other top 6 teams mainly and in Europe

The main beneficiary would be Valencia (and Shaw when fit if he ever is )
    I'll still go Linedelof though
He played the middle of the 3 and stepped out with the ball a lot

Not seen it mentioned anywhere but Southampton right back Martina has moved to Everton
    Good Cedric
    Bad for holgate

I'm debating whether I'll pay the extra .5 for Bertrand now or not
He has delivered more consistently than Cedric though
Not that that would be hard ;)

Anyone tempted by Mikhitaryan this year? , his stats in his final season for dortmund were outstanding

Very strange move for Martina. You'd think he'd want to at least be considered as first-choice at a club. West Brom are crying out for right-backs for instance.

I suppose he was impressed with Everton's ambitions and the chance to link up with Koeman again.

    Pulls doesn't really do fullbacks.

    I'll bite :D;)

No doubting Bertrand is better than Cedric in real life. But that 0.5 million may come in handy elsewhere.

Cuco Martina is not near Premier League standard, never a threat to a fully fit Cedric and I wouldn't write off Holgate altogether.

However Koeman might have same liking for Martina as he did for Stekelenburg, at both Southampton and Everton.

Jakupovic going to Leicester. He's left his training camp to complete the move.

    Danilo agrees terms with Chelsea.

Interesting re Jakupovic. Schmeichel is off to pastures new then I assume.

Doubtful, he's at his level imo. Jaku as back up with Zieler off to Germany.

Perhaps but I read just there they're interested in signing a giant Croatian keeper from the Belgian league if a bid too good to refuse comes in for Schmeichel.

If DDG goes they'll sign Schmeichel. But yeah, same result.

FF wise, this would please me greatly. Aguero and Jesus become extremely tempting options.

    Just came into post this
Dear god that would be epic for FF

And all is clearly not well between Pep and aguero
And pep is so arrogant he would have no issue selling him to Chelsea
