Jesus, thought he would sign for a bigger club then that.

Probably had better offers but obviously wanted a guarantee of decent gametime.

Said he'd always wanted to work with Shakespeare. He must be getting the two of them mixed up maybe. Who would move to work with Shakespeare the manager!

Jaysus it isn't Sergio Ramos we are talking about
They are as big a club as he could hope for
    Good fit imo

To buy, or not to buy, that is the question.

Everton have signed Klaassen from Ajax. Very good stats as an attacking mid over the last few years, albeit in the Dutch league. Barkley likely to be sold as was expected anyway.

True, couldn't see him been signed by one of the top 4 clubs but maybe someone like Everton, United or Arsenal.

Tis better to have played for Leicester and lost than never to have played at all. (Lord Tennyson almost)

So Ronaldo wants to leave Real wonder will he be tempted to go back to United?

Surely the German and Italian clubs couldn't afford his wages

If Matt Ryan can produce anything like the form he did at Atlanta he is going to be a serious asset for Brighton in this game.

Somewhere, I hope there's someone named Manuel Pochettrini, so I can get him, Pellegrino, Manuel Pelligrini and Mauricio Pochettino together for some form of reality show. I haven't got all the angles worked out yet, but I bet it'd be a winner.

Chelsea seem to be in for Sandro at left back for €40m - would put a dent in Alonso's appeal if that goes through?

It would dent it like a car compactor would dent a 1975 Fiat!!

    Sandro would be 1st choice.

Alex Sandro is much better than Alonso. He would be in everyone's team if 6.0 or less

    Absolutely
Alonso is not very good in reality
He won't be first choice next year if conte has his way with signings

I don't want to live in an FPL world without Alonso.
