Thru axle to qr question

I'm getting a set of Ksyrium elite allroad wheels 2nd hand but the come with 12mm thru axles, I already have a set of askiums with qr's. I don't suppose the adapters switch over? If not do I get a 15mm to 9mm mavic adapter?
