Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anyone watching this?

Reading playing the most disgusting brand of football I think I've ever witnessed. Stam would even make Mourinho look adventurous.

Literally spent most of the half passing it from defensive midfield and around the defense like a team may do if they're protecting a lead in the dying moments of a game.

I'm not sure what the plan is, maybe frustrate the living daylights out of the opposition and go for it on the last 20. Commentator said they lost a recent game against Leeds with 78% possession, not surprised based on this.

Absolutely appalling game of ball. Reading were passing it around the back as if they had a lead to protect from the kick off.

Probably wise they took Van Der Berg off, was doing his utmost to get sent off.

Could easily see this going to penalties, neither team looks like scoring.

Game was looking very lively the first 25 mins it hasn't been on that page since and its rather dull, Huddersfield the better side. 10 or so mins to go hope these two sides eventually can squeeze out some excitement

Wells scuffed that effort and then goes down holding his leg, as if to pretend an injury is the reason for making a mess of that chance.

Will Schindler be on the list of penalty takers?

I hope Huddersfield win and Patrick Stewart strips to his cacks and runs around the pitch.

Score this and they are up

Reading deserved that for the most cowardly approach to a final ever.

When was the last time Huddersfield were in the top flight?

That's brilliant - if Reading had gone up it would have been an insult to football.

    Klopp v Wagner!

I mean they're coming straight back down next season but nice for the fans to experience top flight football.

Schindler is finally known for something other than being Knut Kircher's b*tch.

Did he not say during the week he wants a permanent more, or just to stay on loan?

Shouldn't you give them a chance in the transfer market first?! Relegation in the PL is extremely hard to call in May. Everyone has money, it just depends how loose with the cash their owner will be.

Huddersfield have shown they can find decent talent on a budget. Schindler from 1860 was a good signing. Löwe from Kaiserslautern...They even picked up Hefele from Dresden on a free and he has been a regular in the squad for the past few months...German 3.liga to the PL in 12 months is crazy.

Wagner will have willing ally in Klopp so I can see a few loans and maybe a sale or two obviously Danny Ward will be first name in that regard.

    Marko Grujic another I'd say.

I feel they'll be like Middlesbrough. They battened down the hatches for the last while, didn't try to win games, finished with a -2 goal difference and didn't try to win a game in the playoff.

Pragmatic in one way, but being that cautious will lead to a season as pointless as Middlesbroughs.

Watch now as they are comfortable mid table next year.

There's enough pretty poor sides still in the Premier league which means relegation isn't forgone conclusion (admittedly they will probably be most people's favourites to go straight back down) Palace, Swansea, Watford, Bournemouth, Burnley off the top of my head are all teams who'll be in the dog fight again next season.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

True, I just feel they'll be too cautious to avoid defeat and so many results will go against them.

As an aside, will John Smith's be allowed sponsor the stadium? Isn't there something against alcohol advertising in there?
