    Should shrubs be sprayed regularly?

    Shrubs in garden have this type of thing effecting them?

    In that case, no. It is completely harmless lichen that grows on trees where the air is very clean.

    Sometimes, some shrubs might need to be sprayed for things like mildew or aphids, but even then there are alternatives. Routine spraying should not be necessary in a garden.
