Roster hours changed less that 24 hours notice

Hi I got a phone call at 5pm today telling my my rostered hours for tomorrow's shift are now 10-10 instead of 9-7. Can my boss change my hours at this short notice? Childcare is already sorted for the month for my rostered hours.
