Are there career opportunities in Philosophy?

    Hey

    I'm nearly in my final year of a BA in Philosophy. Debating whether to do an MA in it, or not. I was wondering what types of jobs there are on offer in Philosophy and would it be worth my time doing the MA in Philosophy?

    If you are doubting whether or not there are jobs in philosophy, why are you even considering an MA in the subject?

    To be blunt, I think it would be utter madness. Do a post-grad in something marketable.

    And to answer your question, no, I don't think there are many jobs outside of academia in the area of philosophy.
