Planning restrictions in area already zoned residential

    Hi,

    If I buy a site that's in an area already zoned residential what are the restrictions on building, assuming i build a house in sympathy with other nearby houses.I don't have designs on building a marquee Castle!

    My worry is if i buy it and then I never get granted planning permission. There is no scope to buy pending planning with this seller.

    Get a local arch, to prepare a sketch site layout plan and then you & the arch approach the planners. You will need a letter from the seller
