    Hi All.

Trying to get an idea of the value of my current system before I put it up for sale.

    Case: Silverstone Sugo SG13
    MB: Asrock X99E-ITX
    RAM: 32GB ECC (2 X16GB DDDR4)
    CPU: Intel E5-2667 v3
    CPU: Zotec GTX 1060 6GB
    SSD: Samsung Evo 850 500G
    HDD: Samsung 1TB
CPU Cooler: Kracken X41 with Noctua NF-P12.
PSU: Can't remember right now, 550w high end model.

    Monitor: Philips BDM4065UC

Any ideas as to what I should be looking for ?

Well, like all specialist / enthusiast items the resale value is a very hard thing to figure out. Do you want to sell it fairly quickly without hassle, or hold out to get closer to the true value?

The difficulty with things like this is the people who are likely to make a genuine offer more than likely have enough money / interest to put their own high end build together, so they need to feel they're getting a bargain or they will just do that.

You may find you'd get more selling it part by part than as a complete build.

Very true, this was my gaming / workstation build but is no longer required.

second hand value of gaming rigs isnt great. either hold on to it. let it go cheap as one unit or sell each part separately which will make the most back.
i built a similar system a while back and was shocked at all the low ball offers. bottom line i still have it today gathering dust.

You'd get seriously low balled selling as a rig unfortunately , best to split it.

I'd imagine things like the monitor , SSD and 1060 wouldn't hang around long.

Off topic but how is that monitor ? Was looking them up before but decided to wait.

Definitely split it, 95% of buyers on adverts looking for a full system for games have no appreciation for parts like that - so X99, a 550W gold PSU, expensive CPU cooler have no more value for most people over a H81M, €30 PSU and stock cooler!

You'd definitely get more as parts in this particular case.

The cpu/motherboard/ram you will have a harder time selling.
DDR 4 non ecc would sell quicker.
    The X99E is niche
If the E5-2667 v3 is an ES sample then could sell it similar prices to ebay ES. If its a retail version would be better off trying your look with this on ebay.
Most other parts should sell easy enough separate.
