Making Firefox your default browser on Windows 10

I'm blue in the face trying to sort this what should be a 2second job out but nothing works.

I have latest FF version and tried an uninstall and reinstall and still FF won't show up in the list of default apps.

Anyone found a solution or is MS trying to lock everything down again.:mad:

Well I found the answer when I was just about to throw myself in the river:D


No matter what way you try to set FF your brought directly to Microsoft Edge
with no option to see or choose FF.

The MS Edge box is highlighted by a line around it so I just decided to double click on the box and low and behold after being asked to try Edge as 'ITS VERY GOOD' or if I wanted to go ahead. Went ahead and then FF symbol magically appeared.

At least you can, on Windows 10S it is impossible.
