Reminders in Windows 10

Lads what is the easiest way to set up simple reminders in w10. Do I need an ms account? or some yoke called cortina or is there an easier way of doing it. Just want a bill reminder thing, no alarm or anything like that. This is for my desktop pc.

Use a calendar? You can create meetings/reminders.
