He's got his midweek rest this week and England only have friendlies not play offs in November, perfect time for a small injury layoff.

Can't see him being rested against another top 6 team.

Fair play to Poch, a lot of people on here give out about him, but he could have withheld this information till 11:31 tomorrow and have us all crying in our cornflakes.
Replacement choices are Jesus already have Aguero,
Morata, Lukaku,Lacazette, Firmino and Llorente lots to ponder.

Good point.

I’d prefer to take another -4 with the knowledge he’s not playing rather than find out tomorrow.

Expect they will.

Internationals after that which are only friendlies so no real need for him to go on.

Which means he'd have had a 3 week rest coming up to their next game which is against Arsenal away.
