I had my TC chip all polished and ready to go but back into its case it goes.

    Damn shame.

He could easily still play both

Typical of this season is that news about Kane

Could and probably will but if I recall correctly he was sent out not particularly fit at some part earlier this season and was terrible.

Captain rather than TC for me anyway.

I'd rather it be illness than injury doubt, he has all weekend to recover

I'll still keep him, probably even captain him. Any notions of TC are put the window though.

I'm still triple captaining him. Tis only a touch of the flu, he will still play 150+ mins

    BBC:
Harry Kane has come down with a bit of a bug it seems, arguably at the right time given he was fit enough to bang in a hat-trick against Southampton in midweek to set the Premier League record for most goals scored in a calendar year.

Luckily, Tottenham are not in action again until Tuesday, when they face Swansea, and boss Mauricio Pochettino expects him to be fit by then.

"He's ill. He's at home," says Pochettino. "The doctor was there at his house. We'll see tomorrow if he can be training here. It's no big issue."

Get Harry some flat 7 up and motilium and he’ll be grand!

Can't understand how he's still the 3rd most bought in player according to the FPL status page:confused::)

Foster it is then, not that Elliot was getting many non-penalty-save points.

Pep remains coy on the availability of David Silva. "We will see in the next days." #MCFC

A thigh injury is all I can see. I'd much rather have a one-legged Elliot against Brighton than a fully fit Speroni against Kun and co.

My guess would be Kane rested v Swans and back for WH. He's probably fine but I don't see why they'd risk it in an easy fixture.

My guess is he'll be rested in the cup against Afc Wimbledon after the West Ham game.

He will have had a week to recover between the Southampton & Swansea games.

It's not like a muscle injury, it wouldn't be risking him when all he has is a cold/flu

I don't think Spurs will have an "easy fixture" until CL football is secured, they'll be "must-wins".

Poch isn't going to be looking at his FPL score, he'll see his side in 5th wedged between Liverpool and Arsenal. I think Kane plays every minute until a game is won, as long as one leg isn't hanging off him.

Spurs are in a massive battle for a Champions league spot. Kane plays both league games imo unless he's still very ill. Rested for the cup

There is no risk with a cold. If he’s over it he plays, it’s not like he will aggravate it!

It’s quite possible from what Pochettino said that Kane might be back training tomorrow.

    Damn it
In what’s probably going to be a slack week he had a good chance of a few points

    Could have been worse though
Could have taken hit 2 weeks ago to get Adrian in for foster .......

Southampton forward Charlie Austin is facing another 2 months out with a hamstring tear.

Anyone know whether Rob Elliot's injury is a short term or long term one. Not sure if I should bring him in or not on WC

    Zlatan out for a month
