Hopefully he'll put a foundation or ethos in place that can be built on. A bit of belief and backbone

Still think his tactial nous going to be found wanting in the summer though

Johnny McGuirk played well for Brigids and filled in well for Winters on the frees. Looks like the latter has now joined the missing list.

Lads what happened to McGraths in Drumcondra?

Went to go in for a pint before the league final and all the shutters were pulled down

Cheers. Thought it might have been closed for good which would be a shame.

Haven't been in it for a while but it was our go to spot for post game pints years ago.

The only pub along there that I'd go near tbh

    That's just ridiculous.

Bonniedog is working on a replacement. I fully expect that he and his mates will have the new up overnight. I'll make sure I go up the North quays tomorrow to inspect his work.

After a few pints in the Chancery. Meeting at 7.30am.

Seriously though, I trust that this be put to a vote on DCC and that the Greens and other marginal elements are put back into their box.

Dublin is getting a glimpse of the sort of sh1te these people have been at around the country for decades, trying to tell communities how they ought to live.

(Seems that RTE could not find any actual Dubs crossing the bridge for their vox pop!)

Connolly named on the programme to start for Vincent’s tonight, but no sign of him in Parnell Park.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,665 ✭✭✭Bonniedog

Hasn't been training for either team apparently?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,665 ✭✭✭Bonniedog

Skerries getting some hammering. Shows what a nonsense it was for certain clubs to argue in favour of keeping a 32 team senior championship. Even current structure is massively disjointed.

There'll be someone along from Thomas Davis soon to argue they would have given Vinnies a better game :pac:

What flute put him down to start!
Everyone knows he's not involved in any GAA sports

The absolute hack of that scoreline. I hope there's loads of drubbings handed out now to highlight the issue.

    Skerries weren't THAT bad tbh.

Varley, Quinn and Carthy put in brilliant performances on the night and most teams would have struggled to hold them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,665 ✭✭✭Bonniedog

Plunketts beaten by Raheny. Hard to see them getting out of group now. Raheny v Boden and Crokes will be some games, as will the Boden/Crokes game tomorrow.

Are Raheny with BF and Howard the new kids on the block?

MDM lucky to get away with that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,665 ✭✭✭Bonniedog

Mannion was brilliant. MDM looked a bit lost at times. Doesn't seem to turn it on for Boden any more. Crokes player was also lucky not to walk after incident during lead up to Boden goal. Your man may have made a meal of it but it was red card offence nonetheless.

Unfortunately it would seem that those of us who forecast minimal involvement by Cuala with county team have been proven correct.

With ongoing injuries etc, can't see the championship ending much better than the league. All depends on beating Offaly and hoping they lose all their games. Thankfully that game - only one we have hope of winning - is in Parnell.

We could wind up in an Armagh/Crosmaglen situation with Cuala's success

Good analogy. Armagh county team way under-achieved after Kernan concentrated on Cross.

It had already been rumoured that some of Cuala's likely Dub players had arranged other things for the summer. Seems like it will be same players, other than Gough, who came back last year, and that made little difference anyway.

Can't blame lads for wanting a break after three years - over 500 club sessions alone added to nearly 30 championship games, and some of them played league as well.

Hopefully our underage teams do well this year. 21s seem to be going well in challenges against Munster teams. Unfortunately the senior team is treading water now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,952 ✭✭✭✭Stoner

Hardly minimal. Four players is not minimal. One lad is injured, one went over to the footballers last year, is it not just Con and the Kerry lad not coming over. Old news really

There's no way Con will give up football imo

Who else were you expecting Bonnie?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,665 ✭✭✭Bonniedog

O'Connell, Seán Treacy, Cronin, Gough, off chance of Mark Schutte but he's obviously gone to the big ball for good, Sheanon maybe.

Even just having 7/8 of them back training would improve the overall standard.

Still seems to be no word on Rushe and the other injuries. Pats are playing SHC on Saturday so be interesting to see if he plays.

Peter Kelly has retired from the Dublin hurling panel. It's a shame because we could certainly have used him this year. A defensive spine of Kelly and Rushe would have been a great platform to go into Leinster with.

Parnell Passes open for renewal from today

Terrace pass has gone up by €10 for the second year in a row

I'd say O'Callaghan was always taking the fullback jersey but its disappointing nonetheless.

Forgot he got an All Star in 2013.
