I really do hope that Brogan and Connolly play a fair bit tomorrow if not the whole game. Can't wait to see both of them.

MH correct to name such a team next week is the match to win . Jim has much better options as we all know really hope Berno gets some time and of course DC will have to play otherwise would be no point joining up again .It looks likely dubs will win but next game a real test I am pretty sure about that safe trip to all tomorrow and today if heading to o moore park.

The under 21s have started very well, 1-6 to no score after ten.

    The Cork keeper is awful!

And they score a goal! (Cork)

Goal for Cork, sloppy defending, Cork keeper is dodge, nearly cost them another goal. Dublin need to keep the heads here and take their scores, kick the chances.

Jesus game has totally changed now!

    Christ awful defending Dublin!

Another goal for Cork, the Dublin backs are not impressing. In fact the whole team after such a great positive start look completely rattled. Another Cork goal, cutting highways in the Dublin back line.

    1-7 3-1 jesssus.

Some start to the game but awful awful defending from both sides.

Fûck me this Dublin midfield need to get a grip.

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,400 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Referee you would say is letting Cork away with a fair bit and a Dublin player over physical it’s whistle to the lip....like NOW...AGAIN

There's no defending in this game anyway!

    Jesus to f*&#@%;-€

Dublin being pushed off the ball and losing possession far to often.

Can't believe there behind here after that start crazy!

With Cork having the wind in the second half, they'll make full use of it and win comfortably. The defending for all 3 Cork goals was embarrassing.

Dublin need to tighten up and start winning the ball in midfield. They have enough going forward just losing the battles atm.

Yeah the six backs look porous as fûck to be fair. Could be more goals in this for Cork.

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,400 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

needed that next score thankfully we got it.

Dublin are giving this away there's no bite in the team. Cork seem much more up for it all over the pitch at this stage plenty of time though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

The Cork backs just stood off waiting for the Dublin lad to waste possession there. Too many stupid pot shots at the target.

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,400 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

They are rattled. They are getting the odd easy chance and blasting them yards wide with no Cork player even in the same post code . The keeper is all at sea with his kick outs and midfield invisible. Jesus and after the perfect and some start.

Yep. Falling apart now. Missing frees on the 20 whilst Cork are scoring for fun.

    **** sake!

    Game over.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

If these lads are what we've got coming through we're in trouble.

Ya there's a lot of work to be done here. Some obvious talent and potential but no back bone. They have literally fallen to pieces after being miles ahead so early. As soon as Cork got going Dublin have been awful.

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,400 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

We hit the Cork 45 and it’s like all the blood rushes to their heads. I know this will sound like being unfair to Cork but as much as they are winning this Dublin are loosing it too. How many times are we just hopefully hand passing it up in the sky waiting for a Cork hand to grab it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

Really well drilled these Cork lads. We're naive in comparison.

It shows you how the right mentality is so important in this game. How do you go 7 or 8 ahead and end up losing by the same amount in a final!

Embarrassing to be honest at any age group.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,175 ✭✭✭munsterlegend

This is a very strong Cork side who at minor level were best team after Kerry for a number of years probably but kept meeting them in semi final in Munster. No surprise they won the all Ireland.

Was a real touch of the Pillar Caffery about it. Over too the seniors and ladies too restore some pride now.
