Really looking forward to this today. Can’t believe my dads missed the last 3 Sam wins for Dublin. When I think of all the decades of heartache he endured as a Dub, it’s just a bit mad when you consider how things have worked out.

For this reason There is a part of me that gets sad aswell as excited just before throw in during the national anthem. I’m so glad it’s Kerry, I really am. While I obviously hope Dublin will win, there is no other county who I’d rather potentially lose such a big game. It makes the stakes generational and even more epic for me.

Gonna be heading out soon for croker, come on you boys in Blue .

No Brogan, O Gara or Rory O Carroll in the subs - Connolly there alright

O Cofaigh Byrne makes the bench ahead of Bugler.

No Berno, the O, Lowndes or ROC

Lowndes and O'Gara must be a bit disappointed. I don't think Bernard was really expecting to be on. Rory hasn't earned a place. O'Cofaigh Byrne (footballers are getting as posh as the hurlers!) is interesting. Could see him thrown in at midfield to add a bit of energy and physicality should MDM tire, as he will.

Just seen the bench there disappointed but I guess can't please everyone! End the day the lads in charge know what there doing as they have proved many times already! I genuinely hope Brogan and O Gara when they do finish up get the send off in Croke Park they deserve!

I can't believe the day is finally here though I've been counting down the last few weeks since the semi final! Raging won't be watching it with me da as we have been watching all the games together for years but ya me ma booked them a holiday the mad bitch haha!!

I hope it's a great game and Dublin do it whatever it takes.

Dunno what to expect from Kerry and how they will go about the game but I guess all will be revealed very soon!

Anyways enjoy the game boys and girls I hope where all celebrating tonight!!

I'm telling your Ma what you said.

Right, time to get the bowlers to empty their bowels, then off.

Hope everyone from wherever gets there and home safely, and enjoys the day no matter what the outcome.

    COYBIB!

Nerves gone but that's par for the course. Whatever the result today we can be proud of every single one of those lads over the past 5 years.

That fella is beyond braindead, how could you not know you have to hold back there.

    Absolute moron.

Did he deserve to go? Looked harsh

Also ref seems like he’s being harder on Dublin, how does it come across in tv?

Looks on tv that Cooper was getting roasted by Clifford since the start. Made stupid decisions and got sent off for it, but maybe Jim should have changed him around.
