Sunday marks the 1,607th anniversary of the Sacking of Rome by the Visigoths (they were from Nobber apparently) in 410AD.

So at ten minutes past four there will be a minute's silence ending in a stirring rendition of the Roman anthem:

Damn catchy it is too! :D

I wouldn't mind watching the Liverpool match so I've started a petition online for all Dubs to stay in the pub until full time so throw in is delayed until 6pm.

I'm starting an online petition to ban online petitions. Are ya with me or agin' me?

How did that Kerry team beat us in the league final..

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,246 ✭✭✭✭Dyr

I can't for the life of me see how Andrews has gotten a start this year. Exactly the lad you don't want playing a Tyrone defence

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

As poor as a game that was, I don't want to think about what level Tyrone will drag things down to tomorrow.

Cleanest team in the completion this year.

I suppose that result puts your mind at ease knowing it's Mayo you have in the final.

What we witnessed today were the 2 most cynical teams in the competition going hammer and thong at the aul pulling and dragging, with a large dose of off the ball guff.

Whoever wins tomorrow is going to need a strong ref in the final to combat that off the ball stuff and the diving.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

All the top teams are cynical when the need arises.

Nah, it will be tactical but both teams will try to play a bit of football
