Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Currently living abroad

Sold my car and cancelled car insurance with AIB in Ireland on 17/2/17 - the document which I received off AIB after cancellation details that i have "5+" years valid NCB.

Would I be right in saying that as long as I return to Ireland before 17/2/19 and insure another car that I won't lose any of my NCB?

Essentially I won't be back at 0 years NCB?

Secondly, say that I am correct with returning within 2 years as per above, will i get any grief from insurance companies because my cover was not continuous?

Yes that is exactly as it stands at the moment, your NCB will continue as if you bought a new policy on 17/2/17.
