  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,914 ✭✭✭Hijpo

I absolutely love how nothing about that passage of play was rushed and got a goal from it.

Stoke calling offside, he’s only 3 yards on.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,143 ✭✭✭jacool

Pablo is just so good. Bielsa is going to keep him for the bench against Swansea too you’d think. What an impact sub.

Also can see him taking off Pablo again in this game!

Bamford with a 5th would be ideal

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭stryker mcqueen

What a finish by coops BTW!!!

What a finish by coops BTW!!!

If he tried it a 100 times again he wouldn’t pull that off I’d say, crazy finish, thought it got a deflection first but don’t think it did

Get in Bamford!! They're advertising Viagra on the boards round the pitch. Don't think anyone will need that after this performance.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 5,025 Mod ✭✭✭✭GoldFour4

This is excellent for goal difference. Ahead of West Brom on that too ahead of points

Definitely shows it, when he plays... hopefully he'll do the same Sunday against Stoke...I certainly wasn't expecting that result

I think we have just kicked Stoke into Division 1. They still have to play Forest, Brentford, Bristol City and West Brom.

O'Neil in the post match interview: "At least we don't have to play a team of that calibur again this season".

    Good man.

What a tremendous performance by the lads yesterday, really impressed and super happy with the result and the goal difference it gives us.

Costa really impressed me today, he had a conviction I haven't seen him play with so far for Leeds. Perhaps signing a permanent contract has changed his mindset, who knows...

I give Bamford a hard time but he was brilliant yesterday.

As it stands, we need 2 more wins and a draw. Brentford drop any points and that changes - as much as I am impressed by the Bee's current form and relentless push for promotion, hopefully Derby or Preston can take some points off them.

    SATURDAY 11TH JULY
    Derby County 12:30 Brentford
Blackburn Rovers 15:00 West Bromwich Albion
    SUNDAY 12TH JULY
    Swansea City 13:30 Leeds United
    TUESDAY 14TH JULY
    West Bromwich Albion 17:00 Fulham
    WEDNESDAY 15TH JULY
    Brentford 17:00 Preston North End
    THURSDAY 16TH JULY
    Leeds United 17:00 Barnsley
    SATURDAY 18TH JULY
    Derby County 15:00 Leeds United
Huddersfield Town 15:00 West Bromwich Albion
    Stoke City 15:00 Brentford
    WEDNESDAY 22ND JULY
    Brentford 19:30 Barnsley
    Leeds United 19:30 Charlton Athletic
West Bromwich Albion 19:30 Queens Park Rangers

So Leeds are last in the next two rounds as well.
Then for some reason the final two sets of fixtures align. Thought it would just be the last set. It means Leeds have less than 48 hours between Barnsley and Derby. Will need to go 5-0 up by half-time and make 5 substitutions then.

Those fixtures on the last Saturday will definetly be shuffled around I'd say once Sky choose their games. We should be on the Sunday then anyway.
