Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aren't all the last games played at the same time?

What a performance last night. Nerves abated for at least 12 hours.

I seem to be alone in my calm and confidence, but a bit excited. A family member had to go shopping during the match! I do think this will be all over as we want it to end before the last match.

That will have been such a psychological boost too. These things cannot be underestimated. There was massive pressure too given the results by the Bees and Baggies. They now have to do it all over again, with one less match available to them. Derby with their suspensions for the two straight reds in two games won't help their games.

Looks like Derby had the red card for Sibley rescinded.
Yes last night was a massive psychological boost for us and a massive psychological blow for Brentford. They were starting to believe automatic promotion was close but it must now seem like a very tall order.
Here's hoping that come Sunday afternoon it will all be over bar the shouting - wouldn't it be nice to be playing Barnsley knowing even a draw would guarantee promotion!

Didnt see the incident for Sibley, but heard was a dive? Was a retrospective ban put on WBA player?

If leeds win at weekend, brentford will surely have to be thinking its playoffs for them, no matter their result (although maybe not if WBA lose). Then they've to balance of continuing winning, but to win 9 in a row in the league, then have to win 2 out of 3 in playoffs....wheels could come off fast there.

At least it's indeed hands, and brentford do need 2 games to overtake. Should really just think about matching WBA results rather than Brentford

It's the EFL! I'm surprised it's not on the Friday

Let's see how Brentford cope with the pressure now. Fulham overtaking them, away to Derby

Be sad they won't be about to see promotion, would have loved it

The Boys in Green doc about Jack that was on RTE recently was a great watch. I'm sure RTE will put it on again soon or it'll be on RTE player.

Derby down after 3 mins. I believe Brentford won't be dropping any points in this run in.

Jack Charlton and Gary speed both got me, cried like a baby both times and my wife can't get her head around it..... "you didn't cry like that when your granny died"

RIP Jack, absolute Leeds and Ireland legend

RIP Jack, Leeds and Ireland legend. I hope they do it now, for all the players like Jack, Norm, Trevor that we have lost.

That was the first thing I thought of when I heard the news this morning. I was just a year or two too young to remember Big Jack playing for Leeds, but his record speaks for itself. A genuine legend of the game, both at Leeds and in Ireland. yet another sad day for the club, hopefully the current team can do all three of them proud this season. RIP

How crap is the Derby County keeper? 1:2.
We will get no favours from these bozos.

Benrahma is some player. Gotta hand it to Brentford, can't expect any let up from them.

RIP Big Jack. Another sad day, but some fantastic memories.

So bodes well for next weekend?
Meanwhile West Brom drop 2 points 1-1!

How much money was in that wallet you returned? Serious karma ongoing

    Even Graeme Le Saux

I wouldn’t bet against Brentford winning all their remaining games, it’s a soft enough run in

West Brom have a few tricky games, the pressure is on !!!

We need to step up to the plate and show we have the bottle for big games. Wales is never a happy hunting ground for Leeds but we are better than Swansea if we hold our bottle. 18 points better to be exact.

I'm not paying for it on lutv, that's how bad it is for me. Will follow here/Twitter/reddit with notifications from sky.

A win is just huge, and a draw isnt too bad

I just hope it's not a repeat of Cardiff.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭stryker mcqueen

Swansea have lots to play for just outside the playoffs so if they come out and play I think we'll have too much for them..... I do fear that brewster kid from Liverpool though

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,070 ✭✭✭purple hands

A draw wouldn't be the worst, but this is exactly the type of game that champions win

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 5,015 Mod ✭✭✭✭GoldFour4

This ain’t gonna be like Blackburn or Stoke. Swansea seem well up for it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,070 ✭✭✭✭event

We are very poor, no clear chances at all. Kiltch hasnt been great, we seems to be trying to force it
