Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The jersey is a little bland for me. Nothing special. Like said previously, I would have like a little yellow in there somewhere.

Yep, after the training top, I thought one sleve would have differently coloured stripes to the other

Training top looks savage. Adidas gonna male a fair few bob off me this summer. None will fit quite as nice as they do on Phillips or Harrison in the pics but I’ll buy nonetheless!

There is some nice Adidas gear up on the official site as well as the jersey but trying to log in / navigate the site is a nightmare at the moment. I might wait for the Adidas site to have it, probably get free shipping too.

Yeah, that three week stretch couldn't be much tougher.

Yes, add in an FA cup semi final to our chase for a European spot in the league and it's going to be an exciting month! :D

Agreed. It's a standard Adidas template. It's nice but nothing different.

Apart from the size of the sponsor's logo being a bit big, I like the new shirt. It's pretty simple but the Adidas stripes are a nice contrast. Maybe would have liked the middle stripe to be yellow, but that's just nit-picking.
Kids ones are sponsor free (obviously) but there's no way anyone on here is squeezing into one of those!

We've moved on from White it seems, bid £25m and rejected.
On to Koch it seems. I'm sure the fans will have some interesting chants about him if he signs

Jersey sold out in anything above a Medium on both club store and Adidas.ie. Thought those days would be gone when we changed away from Kappa!

I was looking on adidas site, jersey is €90 there. Seems very excessive

£60 on the club website, sounds like that and Parcel Motel is the way to go.

Lewis Dunk signs a new deal with Brighton, so he ain't going.

      Lewis Dunk (C)
      Adam Webster
      Shane Duffy
      Ben White
      Matthew Clarke

      Someone needs to go

      Yep, Veltman

True, with Veltman though it still leaves 5 centre halves. White will be sold imo but I'd say we'll miss out as we need someone now

They’ve 7 in total but want 5 for the season as playing 3 at the back most games. Read an Athletic article about their situation and looks like Duffy will be sold and Clarke loaned out (was on loan at Derby last year). We move on to the headline-tastic Koch from Freiburg.

Did sometimes last year and something Potter wants to do more this season. Hopefully it goes disasterously wrong and we get young Ben for £10m next summer as they get relegated.

Latest player I've seen linked is Divock Origi from Liverpool. I've seen both £10m and £20m mentioned, so who knows how much he'd cost, but I'm not sure how much better he'd be that what we've got. He's hardly the most prolific striker around.

Always thought of Origi as a very limited player.

I agree. Liverpool fans love him because of what he did in the Champions League, but I think that just masks what an unexceptional player he actually is. If he really was as good as the fans think he is he'd be starting a lot more games for them. As it stands, nearly two thirds of his Liverpool appearances have been as a sub.

What was his role when he came on for them? Close down from the front? Pressure the the back four and hurry them into making a mistake? Get his foot on the ball, pick out options.

I don't think Bielsa is looking for a goal getter to start in front of Bamford.

There is no way we will be poaching any starting strikers from anyone.

Of course we do, with good reason too.
Not sure your logic is right though, if he was any good he would have started a lot more games. If he was starting regularly ahead of Bobby, Salah or Mané, Leeds probably couldn't afford him and we certainly wouldn't be letting him go.
He isn't a 40 ot 50m player either though. Reckon the 20m bracket would be about right.
I'd like to hold onto him but would also like to see what he is really like i.e. start the majority of games for a team. He's experienced, works hard etc and could be a fine fit for ye. Leeds have to buy a forward capable of scoring goals in the premier league as what ye have up front wont cut it I think. Ye could do a lot worse than him.
