6 points from the last 6 games. We are not going anywhere, not on that form.

KP back in for Forshaw and Shack in for Ayling and we'll be fine. Maybe Bamford for Roofe if fit enough. Forshaw seems to be a very up and down player lately. Looks awesome one week and awful the next. We'll bounce back, in Bielsa we trust!

Yep, far too inconsistent and needs to be dropped.

We were so sloppy on saturday, boro is going to be a big test now

I think a back 3 worked well for us earlier in the season, I'd go back to that, with Philips in the middle of the 3, Alioski LWB and Shackleton RWB. I'd keep Forshaw personally. If Pablo is fit I'd rest Klich, I thought he was poor the last day. I see Brown scored again for the U23s but probably still too soon for him, but hopefully Bamford is fit to start against Boro.

Klich, Forshaw and Pablo all doubtful for Boro on Saturday.

    Good times.

So no team named yet but Phillips and Shackleton will both start. Interestingly Ayling will also play so no sure whether that means 3 at the back with Alioski lwb and Shackleton rwb then? Or possibly Shackleton into midfield.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭stryker mcqueen

I think we'll beat boro after their FA cup shambles and their fans exchange with 3 of their top players , and their manager apparently throwing digs the mood in their camp should be sour to say the least !!

Phil's tried to decipher the team news again:

I don't quite understand the preference of Forshaw over Phillips tbh, but I haven't done a bajillion hours of analysis.

Klich could probably do with a rest anyway, but Clarke would have big shoes to fill!

Bamford and Roofe both starting is good to hear. Hopefully Phillips in his natural role picking them out will make us a bit more of a threat. Hopefully it's a good time to play Boro. Is it on Sky red button or will it be LUTV streams I'm looking for?

You using iptv for that? Would like to get in on that but seems a bit of a minefield on the suppliers

I just paid the fiver to LUTV for the Rotherham stream a few weeks back, when I wasn't arsed finding one elsewhere, and it worked fine for once with nordvpn

I thought of that, but would it not block the card as it is Irish?

There's a few Leeds Facebook Supporter groups that always have a stream. Leeds Media is a main one.

You'll need a vpn too, so you're watching from overseas ;)

Leeds team v Middlesbrough: Casilla, Alioski, Jansson, Cooper (c), Ayling, Phillips, Klich, Harrison, Clarke, Roofe, Bamford

    Like that team.

Bit of a change anyway. Decent options from the bench too

What happened at the Leeds match? Something involving a substitute?

Jack Clarke taken to hospital, hope the poor lad is okay

That could be a massive point, but can't help but feel that it might paper over the cracks.

Yeah, enjoyed the goal, but 7 points out of a possible 21 is still a collapse.

Touch of class by Pulis, when asked about Leeds equalizing 11 minutes into injury time. Instead of questioning the time or having a go at his players for not holding out, he said the most important thing was the health of the Leeds player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,541 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

How did they play? Haven't seen anything, only the result? Also, what happened Clarke?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,947 ✭✭✭Ceist_Beag

Hope Clarke is ok. That could be a very big point earned today.
As an aside the efl are an absolute joke.

Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa said: "What we know is that he didn't feel well. We don't know the reasons yet, but when he was taken to the dressing room he was feeling better.
About the match, Leeds themselves were not great. As usual they dominated the game and had 70% of the possession, but finishing is still an issue. 17 shots and only 4 on target. Jansson hit the post in the second half but that was the closest we got before the goal. We always seem to go a goal or two down before we swing into action.

Swansea is now a season defining must win game

One of the British Sunday tabloids is reporting that Everton might try to sign Bielsa if they sack Marco Silva. I doubt that's going to happen, I reckon he feels he has a major project underway at ER, and he's certainly not going to leave it for a mess of a club like Everton.

Or the Daniel James Derby as its also known.

Yeah there's a nice break afterwards, be great if they can build on yesterday with a win and try put the bad form to bed. Two very winnable games against Bolton and QPR then (if there's such a thing in the championship).

More importantly, Jack Clarke is out of hospital and home. Fingers crossed yesterday's scare was just exhaustion or something.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,070 ✭✭✭purple hands

Pablo in for Clarke as you would expect

    Brown on the bench again

For the love of God can we please score first

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,541 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Such a huge game. All I ask for is an early goal to go ahead

Pity Sheffield United are leading, scored right after they had a goal disallowed for offside.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,294 ✭✭✭Kalyke

    Preston had a 4th disallowed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,541 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Ugh lazy Ayling tackle to give away a penalty.

    Squeaky bum time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,046 ✭✭✭10000maniacs

Moronic. If we drop points in this game, its unforgivable.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭stryker mcqueen

That was dreadful from ayling , the definition of "He's going nowhere"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,218 ✭✭✭NuckChorris1

    Niiiiiiice.

Think Ayling's foot got caught in the turf or something when tackling. Looked very awkward.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,070 ✭✭✭purple hands

    Never in doubt

Possession to shots on target ratio must be one of the worst in the league. Hit the feckin thing
