Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That collapse against Cardiff really left a mark. Here comes the slump.

Fully deserved after playing poorly. The time wasting was ridiculous

Agreed, the ref was a joke. Saw the Pearson trip and bottled it. Alex Reid was a disgrace, never inside his area the whole game. Nugent milks poking himself in the eye, they were desperate. Hope they rue dropping them 2 points.

From not deserving anything for most of the match we probably deserved the win in the end. Good result in the end, keep on plucking away

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Only saw the other results there after the game, nearly all dropped points

That’s the type of game we lost last year. I might be absolutely jumping the gun but judging by Eddies reaction to our goal and social media posts after the game, I’d say he is staying with us.

We are missing Forshaw badly though and would love a bit of cover for him in January window.

Our bench is just so light weight at the moment. Showed that when we are losing, Bielsa only brought on Eddie.
Hope to see Shackleton and Forshaw back soon.
I fear for the game tomorrow, some players are clearly tiring. Would be nice to have a few changes to keep things fresh for other games coming up. Eddie should probably start at least.

We struggled against Preston at home. I am a bit disappointed at the recent form.

I didn't see it, but judging by reports we finished far more strongly than we started. But yes, some fresh returning from injury troops would be nice.

Spurs have recalled Clarke from loan. Not surprising really considering he hasn't played at all in the first team this season.

He'll be loaned to another championship club, I think we did well getting 10m to be honest, he is nowhere near premiership standard

Clarke is only 19. He was spectacular in a few games last season. I wouldn't write him off yet.

As for other players, not sure why Barry Douglas has fallen out of favour. For the first few months of last season he was excellent, lots of assists, covered a lot of ground.

Lot of talk online In last few days that Douglas could be gone in January. He’s fallen down the pecking order with Alioski able to play that left back role and Leif Davis seems to be liked as back up. His wages are meant to be quite high too.

Costa makes it 1-0. Sounds like a counter attack

    Harrison makes it 2

    You know we're on sky?

    2 brilliant goals

Travelling down from Belfast so missed the game. Great end of the year for Leeds. Happy with the win and the manner of it.

Interesting stat on twitter that Leeds have been top of whatever division they were playing in at the end of each of the last 4 decades ..

Great to see Ayling reach his best form again, he is an excellent player and one of the first names on the teamsheet for me, but seemed to go off the boil earlier this year and hadn't really seen it this season.

Reports that Arsenal are about to recall Eddie and send him back out on loan elsewhere. A bunch of clubs mentioned, including the possibility of him going to Germany, but some Bristol based journalist reckons he's on the way to Bristol City.

Well, Bamford's injured so Eddie might be about to get a run of games, which was the only issue.
