Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I wonder is any of this a ploy to see will Southampton think if they don't take the last offer they may be stuck with a sub who doesn't fit in and whose value may start to dwindle...

Augustin deal is done according to a French journo on Twitter. Not exactly Phil Hay but the player himself has liked a number of Leeds related tweets also.

That would be fantastic, plus Southampton could go and suck a big bag of ...... then

Won't believe it till he plays. The James saga was done too

I am assuming that’s why it’s so quite in here, everyone’s probably about ready to burst with excitement and joy but well it’s Leeds...

L'Equipe is linking us with a St. Etienne central defender, Harold Moukoudi. Burnley, West Brom, Derby and Stoke are also being mentioned, so if we are actually interested in him we could have a bit of a fight on our hands. He only joined St. Etienne last year, so not much info on him other than he made his debut for Cameroon last October.

Hopefully deal fpr Augustin can be confirmed this morning, all this waiting! From the look of it he is a more powerful type of player than Eddie so could be exactly what we have been missing. On a more cautious note, it sounds like his attitude has been called into question previously, so hopefully Bielsa can put the arm around him and give him the guidance and motivation that is needed to get the best out of him.

    I'd go a step further.

I won't believe he's any good until he plays really well.

I'd say round about the time of David Rocastle or Tomas Brolin was the last time I got enthusiastic about transfers before they kicked a ball.

Yea, i remember we had a few whizz game changer signings that flopped in recent years... remember Habib and Adryan? :pac:

But yea, we can only hope!

Would be a pleasant surprise. At the same time, rightly or wrongly Bielsa seems content with Berardi as backup there and Ayling if we're really stretched. Plus we'd be hitting the max loan limit again if Augustin joins on loan too.

    Augustin is done !!!!!

A good window has just become a great window!

Option to buy as well, good business Leeds. And very nice to be able to tell Southampton where to stick their valuation of an unused sub!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,070 ✭✭✭purple hands

What a massive lift this will give everyone. Could feasibly make the cut-off for Millwall squad, but unlikely to be thrown in so soon.

On the other hand, rest of the week till the deadline will be a bit dull :pac:

    From Bielsa's conference:

No more business to be done, finished for this window. Very happy with the backing he was given
JKA unlikely to feature against Millwall
Ben White will be playing in Phillips' role again (ugh)
    Shackleton and Roberts are available

Yep, I really think Southampton we’re taking the piss, tying to squeeze as much as possible out of the deal.
Onwards and upwards for us, these two signings should really give the team the boost it needs, takes the spotlight and pressure of Bamford also.
5 game unbeaten run would go down nicely

This worries me. He was poor there before. Hopefully they've been working hard on it in training over the last ten days.

both are eligible. JKA wont be part of the squad, but hopefully Poveda will be on the bench tonight.

Hopefully JKA on bench for Wigan as I am heading over for that one.

Watch Lord Bamford score a brace tonight and keep JKA out of the team

Down a goal already. Was farting about getting the red button to work on Sky, only to turn it on as the goal went in.

    Depressing stuff...

Watching on LUTV in London - hopefully no Millwall fans spot me.

Bielsa must be thinking about changing the system, simply not working anymore. 2 goals down and we cant score for love nor money.

Depressing. Here's to the second half, come on Leeds. Smash 3 goals in and lets win this fúcker.

Looking a lot better. Wouldn't mind seeing Roberts go up top, or throw Poveda up there. Only saying this so Bamford bangs in a hat-trick and proves me wrong.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭stryker mcqueen

Idiots throwing **** at Millwall players in the south stand, absolute morons

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,331 ✭✭✭Keyzer

Jesus I'm ageing watching this... Come on Leeds. And yes, bring on Poveda.
