Yeah once you open up the towers the horses become irrelevant. Theyre a pain in hole to control too.

I think the horses in BOTW were supposed to guide themselves while you shoot from horseback or checkout out the latest Hyrule gossip on the Sheila slate. Kinda like autopilot. But. in practice they just get stuck. A lot. Maybe it's a skill you learn ... Also i don't like whipping them to make them go faster! Plus you can accidentally kill them in the heat of battle. More reason to avoid them.

The skeleton horse is fun if you steal one at night.

Perfect Dark, liked it at the time but, playing the remaster on the XB1, it was awful, at least in my opinion.

My brothers hated me in multiplayer, as I was good with the farsight, and was usually able to dodge them when they were using it... :D

I use the Touch Site on mobile, not without it's shortcomings but works pretty good imo.

I'm still using the old app, it's OK, but has limitations, some images in posts dont show, can't see polls, sometimes messages don't post.

Yep, that's what I use. Only issue really, is I'm never sure how to goto last post.. Click on full link, click on the time. Seems a bit hit and miss. Or maybe fat fingers. Recently I've been getting Nintendo posts from years ago. ...

Those historical posts were a problem with the site itself, was happening for me on Touch and Full versions not so long ago. It's been fine for a week or two now though (hopefully haven't jinxed it :D).

Why Super Mario Galaxy 2 is Still a Masterpiece! - 10th Anniversary Discussion (Retrospective)

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=MvzoZS4wIH0
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is 10 years old! Does this Wii classic still hold up? We discuss why this game is so special, and possibly the best 3D Mario game in our 10th anniversary discussion that covers Yoshi, power-ups, amazing music, and what we hope to see in a remaster...or a Mario Galaxy 3?!

Both Galaxies were great, but the sequel was better.

Naturally being a sequel it didn’t have the same wow factor for me but yep it is the better game for sure.

Any idea where I can get hold of a switch? GameStop, Smyths and Currys are all out again. If anyone knows where I can pick one up without being scalped I'd appreciate it.

GameStop announced store closures tonight Longford Charlestown and Letterkenny so far if anyone has any preorders in stores get to asking about them asap very sad for the staff. Online still seems up and running this damn shutdown has screwed things up rightly so.

As I posted in other threads about gamestop,
From the mail we got about it:
It says "Don't worry if you have placed a pre-order with us. A store manager will be in contact with you after June 8th"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Would be sad to see Gamestop go as an option, and for the staff obviously. Will be some who'll be glad to see it go, although I'm never sure why someone would be actively wanting a store to close down when they can just not go in there. Looks like a fair few stores closing alright from the sounds of it.

JAPANESE TECH JOURNALIST TEASES A "REVOLUTIONARY" ANNOUNCEMENT (POSSIBLY FROM SEGA) THAT WILL "RILE UP THE GAMES INDUSTRY" SET TO APPEAR IN NEXT WEEK'S FAMITSU
    This outta be exciting!

What could it be? New hardware? That they're being bought out by someone? That they're going exclusive for a while?

    Sonic the movie 2

    Sonic the movie 2

That wouldn't rile up the game industry, nor would it be revolutionary. Is there room in the market for another handheld? Sega Game Gear 2? It sounds big, I hope it's not something daft or that was hyped beyond reality.

The Dreamcast was actually a great console. Just came out at the wrong time and wiped out by Playstation.
