I have an old airgun in the UK. Its stored at my old man’s house & I am emotionally attached to it. I have a shotgun licence in the Republic. Its below 12ftp, I know I need a licence. Can I bring it in once I have obtained a licence in my car, or does it need to go through a dealer/some other channel. Any advice is greatly…

Once you have it licensed, and get he import form, you need only get a European Firearms Pass and go collect it yourself.

If you have a licence and import permit could you just use a courier to bring it over?

Thanks for the advice greatly appreciated. I go over to the UK on a regular basis so I would rather collect myself. I have submitted my licence application last week, fingers crossed.
