Recommend some plants for a cold front porch!

I'm thinking ahead for Irish hardy plants/flowers I'd like to place in my front porch. It's an old Irish porch so I would say it def gets to nearly freezing in winter. What would fellow boards members recommend for such a place? Ivy/Spider plants I have. Also, thinking mind your business might survive.. It does get lovely…
