    Can I alter my DNS to any format i like?

    Which device? Generally yes. The format must be X.X.X.X for ipv4 DNS. Example is 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 (Google DNS)

    The dns needs to be registered? Its not a matter of using a bunch of random numbers?
