Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He missed a simple penalty in the last few minutes.

Sorry I agree he is sh*t.....throw him on scrap heap.....

I can't believe nobody has mentioned the moment when Devin Toner tried to dive on a loose ball.

Was like a baby giraffe trying to lie down for the first time. :pac:

Yeah, that's what I said.

He's a great talent. Not a good kicker though. That might change but early signs aren't good. Would be a big turnaround for him to become a test level kicker.

ROG, Madigan etc. showed far more off the tee at a young age than Carbery has done.

"Go and grab a gatorade" says the interviewer of the US scrum half at half time.

That is worse than BOD supping on his bottle.

Are you his dad or what?

Those lads actually made a decent number of kicks. Madigan was a long distance kicker when he came on the scene. By his second season he was a solid kicker around 70%. ROG was patchy but at a similar leveL. Carbery was 50% this season before tonight.

    Ireland 36-14 Joey Carbury

Back 3 were very exciting in first half, each of them were outstanding.
    Marmion has been very energetic.
Ireland taking advantage of the dry conditions and poor defence to throw loads of offloads and keep the tempo high in possession.
Great running rugby, pleasure to watch them cut loose.
Scrums seem to be going Ireland's way.
Hope the subs come in and add to the scoreboard.
Carbery should be dropped for a season or two.

    Ireland - 36
    Joey Carbery - 14

I'd say Joe will be paying more attention to errors than positives after this game, and Joey has made a couple of doozies

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Carbery just trying to keep it interesting. Good on him.

    Scannell to 10
    Ringrose to 12
    Earls to 13
Zebo for Carbury and onto the wing.

The post-match review of this game in the team room is just going to be Joe Schmidt roasting Carberry for 80 minutes.

US RFU vote for 2023. Same as the All Blacks game in Chicago.

Against USA, Niall could give it a go too!

The USA shorts look a little tight around the package.

I notice a lot of players using contact lenses. I would have thought a lot would get laser.

Is it just me or are Ireland being reffed to the letter of the law and US being given leeway?

I know we are streets ahead but I don't see how they learn from it if they're not getting called on what they're doing wrong.

We're forever complaining on here that the lower tier nations don't get to play enough against higher tiers. Games like this need to happen more often.
