Sorry if this is in wrong forum but there are a lot of really technical people here. I have a simple question:

I'm on a Pay as you go deal with Tesco mobile but I want to change phones to the new (retro) Nokia 3310 when its released. Is it just a matter of putting the sim from my current Doro phone to the new phone and that's it? Sorry if its an obvious question, I'm not good with phones and sims etc.

    Thanks.

Depends on where you are getting the phone from. If it's Tesco themselves then should have no issue (assuming the Doro uses a micro sim)

If the Nokia phone is unlocked it will work with a Tesco SIM, if it is locked it will only work with the network it is locked to. As a rule typically if you buy a phone in a phone shop for a certain provider it will be locked to that network, buying from the likes of Argos would generally be unlocked.

A new sim card can be provided by Tesco Mobile if your current card will not fit in the new phone.

Argos have it for €70 unlocked...
