Much better.

Whelan has been our best player. He does the obvious thing of travelling into space with the ball, rather than hoofing it, plays it to Ward and a chance is created.

Football isn't difficult.

I don't have an issue with it as long as it gets results, but if you're going to play that way then at least we need to be set up properly, i.e having a midfielder within 30 yards of Walters to support would be a start.

The way they are at the moment it looks like Walters is expected to win the aerial battles and get on the end of his own knockdowns.
