Yay! My car finally made it on to boards ! Courtesy of the duke of smiley! I would have put up a few pictures myself but I am a computer cabbage and don't know how. (Hangs head in shame...) Thanks duke !

Love it! Its a fantastic example, I spent a while admiring. Love the "if its got tits or tyres.." plate under the bonnet

Can you tell me the name of the wheels you have on it? I saw the same ones on a Mk4 Golf cab further up the field. My parents have a 16v Mk3 and I'm trying to picture them on it in my head atm

Those alloys are called avus (official vw name) or Scala's , snowflakes (unofficial). 14 inch rims. 321601025h

Glad you liked the plate, the woman hates it! I wanted to put it in the middle of the dash but it would have ended in divorce, so I put it on the slam panel instead.

I know the owner of that German-registered Auto Union ('BRA-WA41' registration, above).
He drives it over from Germany every year and tours all around the country in it.

I was there once, only I got there a bit late, and the rain was unearthly, and wasn't helped that going down the M1, some Northern regged SUV towing something expensive apparently felt having lights on would be too boringly safe. Fine bunch of motors. Hope I catch a glance next year.
