How Long Does it Take to Sign Contracts

    Hi,
    I have signed contracts and give 10% deposit on a house being sold by receiver through bank (UK).  It has been 3 weeks now and my solicitor said that the contracts are still with the banks for signing and cant give me anymore updates.
    Does anyone know how long it takes banks to sign contracts, does this mean they are deciding to not go ahead with sale as they are taking so long?  Anyone have any experience with this?

    Nobody but the bank can answer that for you.

    Some banks will turn the contracts around in a few days, other banks could leave you hanging for months and months.
