I would like to get a shed for the garden. Was looking at 8ftx8ft/ 10x6, 8x6 ones. Problem is that I don't have a side access to the garden. My house is a typical 3-bed terrace house in Harolds Cross, there are no turns between the main door and the garden door everything can pass through there.

Any idea who can provide them? contacted a few places but they said they won't deliver if there isn't a side access:-(

These are the two of the ones I was looking at:

Some places like Argos do self-assembly. Unless you have massive internal doors, nothing more than 6 foot on the shortest dimension will pass through the house

The likes of those sheds from Woodies are absolute rubbish. They will rot and you could literally tear them apart with your bare hands. They are so light and use poor materials. Remember this is something that has to face the elements 24/7.

Look into a garden shed specialist not Woodies or anything like woodies. They will assemble on site for you too.

Personally I built one using treated Scandinavian pine and I stained and coated it too. No nudging this thing it weighs a tonne. Cost less than those ones for materials too.

The ones in Woodie are supplied by same company(es) like in the garden shed specialist.
Both will came flat packed and assembled in site.

@OP,in your case, they may have to go trough the home.

Re quality, basedon your budget and what do you need it for.

We ordered an 8x6 from Kelly Barna a few years back. Same issue with terraced house, it had to come through the house.
We told them when we ordered so they just made the gable end in two separate pieces and then assembled it for us. No problems. Great quality shed too!

    Thanks all

Contacted gardenshedsforsale.ie and they said that as long as there is a straight run through the house both of the below will go through. So I might go for one of those

    8ft x 6ft Cabin Shed

    Brand: The Shed Factory
    Product Code: 8ft x 6ft Cabin Shed

    6ft x 10ft Superior Shed
    Brand: The Shed Factory
    Product Code: 6ft x 10ft Superior Shed

Did you order in the end from gardenshedsforsale.ie?

I need an 8 x 10 shed (pressure treated) and am doing my research. This crowd are considerably cheaper than the other sheds I've looked at such as Barna, Timbertrove etc, for what seem like similar style/build sheds.

So if anyone has any experiences they can pass on, I'd be very grateful

    yes, ordered this one https://gardenshedsforsale.ie/index.php/our-sheds/superior-range/6ft-x-10ft-superior-shed

Very happy with the quality, the only downside was that it took them about 6 weeks for delivery (that was during the summer), prob not as bad now. They put it together in 20 mins

Probably a bit late but I had similar issues. Will post in case anyone else wants to see

I looked at the wooden sheds but I didn't want to get into the maintenance of them. Painting etc. Also no matter what you do they will slowly rot away.

I invested in something like this from Argos
    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/2135612/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CGarden+and+DIY%7C14418702/c_2/3%7C19285823%7CSheds%2C+greenhouses+and+storage%7C14418827/c_3/4%7Ccat_14418827%7CMetal+sheds%7C14418834.htm

Had the slide doors etc on it.

It is put together yourself but I done the majority on my own and then got a mate to help. Took me around a day but would have been quicker if I just asked mate up front. A good battery drill is required.

It's not cast iron or anything but it was dry and no matter how bad wind got I never had issue. Bit of condensation in it the odd time but everything inside was perfect. Bought a couple of the plastic/shed shelving units and it was perfect.

Looks good but having to put it up myself is a non-runner as I can't hammer a nail!
