Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

...I just don't like that term. Refer to her by her title "my girlfriend/partner/wife", refer her by her name, use a term of endearment, use a well known literary reference like Rumpole's "SWMBO"...anything but "the Missus".

I wouldnt be a huge fan of the term by my OH used it the odd time, especially in front of "the lads".

Anytime I hear it, I just say something to annoy him like "oh are you proposing then? " and that usually puts an end to it.

I don't like "boyfriend/girlfriend" at my age - y'know, anything above about 19. It just sounds very...temporary and teenagery. Just my own thingie though. I use "partner" and have been mistaken for being gay on account of it, which I didn't see coming, but probably should have.
