Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Goal for the ages imo. Loved it.

They're good value for a lead too.

Some screamer of a goal by Daniels for Bournemouth.

All city now. That's where the quality counts. Big time against it, one chance and goal.

Ake should have been off alright but city defenders getting g away with murder. How none of three are booked is beyond me.

Looks like Dean has decided to let everything go where possible. Good.

City getting no luck with referees since the start of this season.

That should have been a foul for reckless play. It was a very dangerous lunge.

Has Dean got money on a Bournemouth win? That was a wild tackle by Cook.

It was. It's a red card in most games.

In fairness Kompany should have been booked in the first half so would be off now too.

We don't look like scoring. And we will, in all probability, be four points off the top come the end of this round of games.

City poxy there. Wasn't even a free when Mousset won the ball at the other end of the pitch, and City scored from it

    Sterling gets sent off! Hilarious

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,578 ✭✭✭✭Turtwig

That was so undeserved. I know Bournemouth could have been down to ten, possibly nine, but they really deserved the draw on the balance of play.:(

City are a shambles - they should have been 2-0 down, and win with a deflected goal. Discipline is non existent

Fergie time goal. Although ref speaking to managers and the sub probably meant it was justified

Think Kompany was very lucky to not get a second yellow for that tackle on Afobe that resulted in him being subbed off injured.

City got the luck to win it. Can't see how it was a free out when your man #31 won the ball and it was given as a free.

No amount of money spent on any number of defenders will sort City. Pep himself hasn't a notion how to sort a defence out.

The only goal they scored was a screamer that no keeper would save, and theres new players, takes time so hold your judgement till end of season.

Kompany yep and Mendy. He did two really cynical trips. One which he got booked for, one after which he wasn't even penalised for. Still, I think if we assess it on which side should have got the more cards hands down bournemouth lived a charmed existence there.

Dean was woeful today imo. He didn't even play advantage when City and Bournemouth were clearly in a position to take advantage of it. It was shocking.

There is very little correlation between premier league spending and quality, in fact standard seems to be regressing the more gross the spending becomes which is hilariously counterproductive. This City side lack any identity.

Does Mike Dean ever get called by the FA for his many blunders, nearly every game he's involved in some controversy

Oh I think both teams should've had plenty of reds if the refereeing was consistent but then again this is brought up every season about how inept they are.

Pep himself could be, and should be imo, in trouble for how he treated the officials and opposition manager.

I think Dean was consistent in fairness. City should have had two men gone at least and Ake should have been off. It seems like he decided to let things go and in fairness it resulted in a really entertaining game.

With Sterling's red, to be fair it's rare that you don't see players get booked for that when they go into the crowd, the difference is most don't usually care if it's their first yellow. It's a stupid rule but it comes from the top, Dean got the decision right.

Palace in trouble, getting boo'd off at HT 0-1 down to Swansea

Maybe they should have got a proper Dutch manager in like Shteve.

There is a video from the away fans section that shows him picking up the police officers hat and then it cuts away to the crowd and he is back shouting abuse at a steward. Apparently while the camera wasn't showing the steward was either too forceful or punched the fan they were restraining and that made Aguero flip. The police all wear body cams and there was also a police officer videoing the incident so I'm sure the truth will come out anyways

De Boer and Pellegrino and Hughton are not far behind but they do at least have a bit of slack as newbies/promoted
