Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've just realised how pointy Lauro's ears are.

Arsenals back line and keeper are the problem

That's half the team tbh. Ramsey is the only centre midfielder of substance.
No width up top either & a lot of their best attacking players are pushing 30 now.
Wenger has left the squad in a bad way which should be remembered for any new manager's sake.

Stoke all but gone, defensive howler gifts Palace a goal

Fair play to Paul Lambert. 1 up & takes off Crouch. A minute later 1-1 & now they are 2-1 down and being relegated.

They'll flog Butland for a handy sum anyway.

    Good riddance Stoke.

Their good players will find homes among other PL sides.

United should try extra hard to help relegate West Ham on Thursday.

    That would be sweet.

Huddersfield are doomed, I’ve been saying it for weeks, they will not pick up any more points and 35 won’t be enough, Swansea and Southampton will creep past them.

They've Arsenal last. You'd never bet against them on that basis.
If anything, that it'll be a significant game in the form of Wenger's last hurrah makes it even more likely they'll win.

If Bournemouth beat Swansea it's a massive opportunity for Southampton later & midweek. Swansea started off great under Carvalhal but have been toxic the last few weeks

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

    Bournemouth 1-0 Swansea
    Leicester 0-1 West Ham
    Watford 2-0 Newcastle
    West Brom 0-0 Spurs

So brom going down with Stoke and Swansea in bother.

Everton v Soton should be a home win on form but one needs the points.

Leicester 0 - 2 Hammers, home side sleepwalking to the end of their season - Puel out!

Well duh! I said West Brom going down with Stoke, "not West Brom going down with Stoke who are also losing right now" Did I really need to specify a time frame or sequence?

What are you getting at here?

Is it that Crouch is so good that when he gets taken off the team immediately crumbles?

Or is it the unusual tactic of Lambert to take off a forward for a midfielder when 1-0 up?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,496 ✭✭✭Will I Am Not

West Brom on some run. Too little too late.

Holy crap - Darren Moore should have been appointed instead of Pardew. Fantastic run of results

As Mr Kipling might say; exceedingly unlikely.

As soon as they conceded they had nobody on the pitch who could hold onto the ball or link up play in the final third so they had to bring on Campbell who tbh I never heard of which summed up his contribution.
Poor move & it blew up in his face instantly.

    Is the greatest escape on.

Will still be too little too late especially given that Swansea and Southampton play each other.

What the **** was pardew doing with this lot. Sacked him a game earlier just maybe they'd have stayed up.

Darren moore has been sensational for them. Unlucky he got tje job to late. If he stays on they'll be back up. He plays attacking football which that west brom team havent seen before. Big fan of him

"If he stays on"? I'm sure he'd want the gig. Isn't he from a family of Baggies fans? And the club would have to be mad to get rid of him after the impact he's had there.

If Saints hold on, WBA are down.

Very cruel on WBA after their last few results but it's what they deserve for sticking with Pardew for far too long.
