Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Game of the season from an entertainment pov.

Rudiger isn't great is he ?

    Liverpool
Imagine leaving Jesus and Sterling on the bench, lads with 6 goals each in the league and still putting out arguably better replacements in Aguero and Silva.

    Watford need some heading practice.

    Ironic, beaten by another header.

Amazing. That could be huge for Chelsea's season.

The advantage of being state backed. Everything that's wrong with football.

Big win for Chelsea. Watford only themselves to blame for those misses

    Arsenal
Had them in last man standing so not too bad of a result.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,576 ✭✭✭deaddonkey15

    Everton
A stay of execution for Conte.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,205 ✭✭✭Lucas Hood

If players get booked for going into the crowd why aren't managers the same

    Everton
Hazard does some rolling around for one man.

Terrible misses cost Watford. Great fun for a neutral though

Actually Watford can feel hard done by a bit. First one never a corner, and Rudiger sending off would've been big. Guess it still makes it fun for the neutral.

No yellow for Hazard for kicking the ball away there.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 876 ✭✭✭Rumple Stillson

It's pretty insane that Conte's position is apparently under threat, they are 4th as things stand!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17,388 ✭✭✭✭Jayop

    Everton
This ref is a joke. How's Hazard not booked?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

    Liverpool
    This ref is unfit.

Oh well, fair play to Conte for making changes.

Yeah their away form has been fantastic, and Chelsea have been rubbish at the Bridge so far.

Plenty of centre mid injury concerns for Chelsea so hard to see them being defensively solid, hence why attack probably best form of defence for them right now.

Reckon it could be a 4-2 type scoreline.

Richarlison the most exciting new addition to the league, he could pose a big threat today.

Dang Rekop hope ya threw a tenner on that

    Crystal Palace
Britos effectively assisting that goal there.

Harsh on Warford but Chelsea's quality told in the end.

Get the feeling that teams who play mid-week in the CL struggle to get going in these early kick offs. Watford seemed to run out of steam after the equaliser, physically and mentally.

Mark Hughes in crisis! 0-2 v Bournemouth.

Another manager on the tightrope, although not as much as Bilic or Koeman I'd say.

I’d say you need to have a look at the financials bud and net spend for last 5 years including club revenue.

Roman hasn’t paid for a player out of pocket in a long while.

As if that’s even a retort anyways. Football is a business, so investment not part of that? Or are United the only club allowed to spend money because they sell more United brand toilet seats/pot noodle/ credit cards

Well hopefully Silva now he gets a ban for diving after the first ever retrospective ban was imposed yesterday.

    2 nil to Huddersfield.

Lol @ ye thinking that was a dive. Slight exaggeration from Silva maybe but it's a clear penalty.

    Spurs
We're seeing knock on effect of Jose's baffling tactics against a poor defence last week. I said it will make a dent on their confidence and momentum.

    Liverpool
Lindelof could do with some lessons from Jonny Bones Stones.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,740 ✭✭✭✭MD1990

Silva got caught on his right ankle. Wasn't a dive.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Lindelof sounds like a German brand of chocolate found in Lidl or Aldi. Something like a fake After Eight.

Exaggerated contact sounds like double speak for a dive

Looked a dive, I think only a city fan would defend it.

Clearly trapped his ankle with his knee...can be quite painful those.

Suggested the same thing myself during the Benfica game, they have completely lost their way.

Exaggerated contact but who doesn't do that? Camera angles of the replays are inconclusive. Angle to view is prone to errors. Unless the FA can find some definitive angle (and it proves it wasn't a penalty) I can't see that ban happening.

More a case of United's luck finally running out. They should have lost to Liverpool last weekend and only for a howler from a young inexperienced keeper in midweek they would have drawn that game. I've been watching the Huddersfield hoping they'd get their deserved comeuppance and so it has come to pass. I hope Huddersfield keep a calm head.
