Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Typical arsenal, great finish by Rooney after a Guaye tackle.

How is that not a free kick. He got no ball. Arsenal out of luck these days.

Didn't see it from all angles but was that not a free kick for Xhaka?

Was an excellent tackle, great signing by everton.

Would need to see it again but looks like there was minimal to no contact on xhaka. He just fell down expecting the free.

Just ban slide tackles altogether, ridiculous.

    No need.

Just make sure the ref does his job correctly.

He got out of the way of a horrible studs up.

    Everton are a disgrace today.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 876 ✭✭✭Rumple Stillson

Did the ref include the tackle on Xhaka as part of the 3 fouls for Gueye's yellow?

Bellerin went flying in as well don't forget

Have Arsenal not realization every goal kick is going to Calvert? Can telegraph them at this stage.

Still had studs pointing up and lifted leg towards player.

Deserved equaliser there, not the most likely source of it anyway.

Pickford has to push the first shot around the post.

How come Arsenal are wearing their change kit today? It's not like red clashes with blue. To be fair though, lots of clubs are doing similar, when there's no need to. Including us; the win at Watford springs to mind straight away. Is there some PL rule about clubs having to wear the change kit a specified number of times? Or is it simply down to marketing?

Quick reaction by Monreal there; 1-1

Ramsey's great at running from deep, not much else.

All about the money. Have to sell some away shirts too.

Bit unnecessary from Pickford goading Sanchez after the save. Expect Sanchez to score now.

Why was pickford shouting in Sanchez's face. I hate that ****. Hope he buries one past him now.

    100% foul.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

    100% foul.
It was. Looked like the Everton player (was it Gueye?) caught Xhaka's knee with his.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Arsenal will win this once they don't lose the head. Everton must have been listening to Deeney midweek

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

    100% foul.

    Yeah definitely was

Away game, Sunday tv game that will attract plenty of viewers, all marketing ploy merely

    Great ball great header.

    Au revoir Koeman?

So easy for Arsenal but great assist from Sanchez.

Well, with Wales being knocked out via his error, Everton having a rough ride, midweek shenanigans against Lyon and being subbed off today, and lots of criticism, generally for his performances and temperment, he isn't exactly flavour of the month!

Second time this season he has been subbed off at HT and for an experienced international centre half, that is pretty embarrassing.

    Liverpool
Everton just waiting for the right moment to pounce, shrewd strategy.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 876 ✭✭✭Rumple Stillson

Pickford aside, who I think is good, Everton have spent a lot of money on some very ordinary players. Looks like costing Koeman his job ultimately.

Vlasic has been good and a decent signing.

No clue what's happend to Siggy. Keane never going to look amazing beside Jags and William's. Considering concede every week

    Liverpool
The great Gareth Southgate looks on from the stands, plotting a quarter final exit in the upcoming world cup to a team ranked below them.

Haven't seen enough of Vlasic but looks decent in this game.

Davy Klassen, anyone could of told you he was never going to do anything in the premier league.

Just goes to show having some money to spend does not always mean the team gets better. Ask a Liverpool fan!

Same thing that happened to him at Spurs, playing him out wide. He's a number 10.

Reminds me of Mark Hughes a fink. When he bought a load of flops at City.

I like Vlasic. I wanted Siggy but looks a shadow of him former self.

Rooney is scoring so can't complain much in that regard.

Our back line is just terrible Pickford aside.

What Everton have done is more akin to the “Super Seven” Spurs bought to replace Bale.

Davy Klassen must be the worst signing they've made he's so slow.

Sometimes you'd wonder how stupid players have to be. Going in like that is bad enough, let alone when already on a yellow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

Brainless from Gueye. Why make a challenge like that when you're on a yellow? It beggars belief.

2 more for Arsenal and Everton are in bottom 3 I think?
