This game has been of surprisingly poor quality.

Both teams have been really average in possession given the quality of the two.

City's wastefulness is one thing but the bigger issue has been how poor their passing has been.

That was an awful decision. The pass was delayed which made it look even worse. Granted it was off by far but how the linesman doesn't put up his flag is really bizarre. You'd have to question him.

Shoulder to shoulder? Watch the replay again at FT. Sterling was barged in the back by Monreal's clumsy challenge. Penalty all day long. The third goal was offside. Not by a yard though, as some on here are claiming.

Watch it again and tell me it's not a peno. There's no question it's a peno and no one is arguing there even a slight chance it not.

I think you need to watch it again if you think that was Sterling's back. It's clearly shoulder to shoulder.

Sterling then starts going down and drags his leg so that Monreal hits it.
